“Guess what happened yesterday?”

If we were catching up over coffee, that’s exactly how I’d start.

Because yesterday… something magical happened.

I stood on a virtual stage at the Open Mic Session hosted by the Mumbai Chapter of PSAI (Professional Speakers Association of India) — and for 8 minutes, I shared a piece of my heart.

And yes, I was nervous.

That kind of nervous where your voice trembles slightly, your fingers hover over the unmute button, and your inner critic whispers, “What if it’s not good enough?”

But then I remembered:
This is why I joined PSAI.
To grow.
To learn.
To own my voice.

I took a deep breath.
And began.

Those 8 minutes? They felt like a lifetime and a moment all at once.
By the time I finished, I wasn’t just relieved — I was grateful.
